lazy lazy lazy

I figure I better write something on my blog to make me realize that it is almost half way through the year and I have not run in one race since my last one. Grantide that was a very difficult race, running a total of 40 miles in under two days, however that is no excuse. I have signed up for the Provo 10 miler and it is on June 12th. I am extremely nervous for this one seeing how I have not been training for it, hence the post. I'm trying to kick myself back into gear-I have less then one month to do so. - yikes!

It's been challenging since the 1/2 and full marathon race trying to keep the weight off that I had lost for that race, but I think I've done okay. I've gained back only 5 pounds but considering at that time I was running more then 40 miles a week and eating so extrememly heathly this does not seem unrealitic. I have still been working out everyday on my elliptical and running about 1-2 days a weeks so I'm not starting out from scratch but it will still be challenging with trying to keep my knee in good enough shape to not be injured again.

My plan:
**to buy new running shoes
**start running and running and running
**stop eating and eating and eating
**lose the 5 pounds by the 12th of June
**run in the Provo 10 Miler and feel great after

  2. I can't wait till I can start exercising in July. I want to do the freedom run but that gives me only 3 days to train. I guess I can always walk it but thats not as fun. Plus they don't make a jogging stroller that holds 4 and Joe is working. Good luck and don't get hurt again.
