The other day I was thinking about running and all the races I did last year when I realized that it has been exactly one year since signing up for the Goofy Challenge and the start of my training for that race. I knew after running a 1/2 and a full marathon back to back that I was going to need a break from running because it was so intense, but I did not think that I would go an entire year without running in one race. I got just a little lazy and used my sore knee as an excuse. I haven't felt to bad about it though because I have kept the weight off by doing a little bit of running and other types of excersing throughout the year but I have now created a new workout chart for the rest of the year that will slowly build my miles back up and hopefully by that time I will be ready to sign up and run another race and when I do I will have a new post to add to this running blog, until then..... 
Good luck! You'll be back running in races thinking to yourself "Why the hell am I doing this to myself?" before you know it. -Annie
