Today I ran the Hobble Creek Canyon 1/2 marathon. This is my favorite 1/2 to run. It is a beautiful run, and considered one of the faster half in the area. I wasn't as trained as I should have been for this run and so I thought I'd try something different. What I did is, every 2 miles I would walk for one minute, and by doing so I was able run faster. I've heard of this type of training/running before and I've always wanted to try this but never have because I never want to walk after the first two miles. I told myself no matter what, I would stop at walk at mile two and so I did. I was able to finish the race feeling pretty good. I came in at 2 hours and I am very happy with my time.
I am proud of you, yet once again. I cannot believe how many races you run, and the times you pull off. EXCELLENT!!!! You are so dedicated.
